The Club is offering a new program this summer called the “A-Team.” This program is for boys and girls who have Autism, High Functioning Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Aspergers Syndrome or other communication disorder. Participants must be entering 1st grade in September 2010 and 13 years or younger through August 27th.
The child will become a member of the Blackstone Valley Boys and Girls club. The member would be present at the Club for a total of 5 hours per day Monday through Friday. Activities your child may participate in: arts & crafts, swimming, daily competitions, fishing, dance, theatre, karate. Drop off is at 9:30am; pick up is at 2:30pm. Please provide a lunch.
The “A Team program” has 6 sessions starting July 12, 2010, ending August 20, 2010. The tuition for each session costs $400, which includes a $20 membership fee that lasts for one year. Tuition may be paid by cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.

Children in grades K, 1 and 2 are welcome to sign up for Biddy Soccer. Classes are on Saturdays, from 12:30-1:30pm at the Club. This 8 week program started March 6th and ends April 24th.
There are still spaces available. The fee is $35 per child.

The Club is having their 2nd Annual Blame it on Bob fundraiser. Come join us at the Italians Workmens Club in Woonsocket on Saturday, February 20, 2010 and enjoy a live band performance featuring the band Blame it on Bob. There will be hot and cold appetizers, raffle prizes and a bar.
All f unds raised will go towards a Defribrillator for the Club.

The Club will begin registration for our 2010 Summer Program starting, Monday, February 1, 2010 during office hours: Mondays through Fridays, 10am-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm.
To register, you may come down to our office at 115 Canal Street, Blackstone, MA 01504 or mail the required forms and payment to Blackstone Valley Boys and Girls Club, PO BOX 283, Blackstone, MA 01504.
We do have limited enrollment, so register early to save your child’s spot. We do offer payment plans for those members who register early. A $200 deposit is required for each child or full payment can be made. We accept cash, check or charge (except American Express). We do not accept payment over the phone.
